K.I.N.G.S. Mentorship Hosts Community Dinner

Black Men Smile®’s  K.I.N.G.S. Mentorship Program hosted an interactive event on Sat., Sept. 14 called, "Food for Thought", where guests dined on local, black-owned fare and shared intimate truths about healing and community building.

Guests were treated to a wine tasting from Black-owned winery, Geselle Wine, spa gifts from farm-to-skin spa iwi fresh, performances by cellist, OkCello and a local spoken word artist, insightful discussions led by K.I.N.G.S. program director Brantley Simmons, and a lively panel discussion featuring Black Men Smile® founder Carlton Mackey.

The event was the first in a series called “Let’s Heal For Real.” Sign up for our newsletter to hear more about the next event in the series and check out the video recap below.
