Black Men Smile® Attends The Black Man Can Photo Shoot
On a chilly weekend in December, a powerful group of Black Men gathered in Brooklyn NY at the invitation of The Black Man Can, an organization dedicated to reflecting positive images of Black boys and men.
Black Men Smile® founder Carlton Mackey was moved by the gathering and noted its significance.
“These men were entrepreneurs, activists, scholars, authors, motivational speakers, fathers, movement makers...and in some cases all of the above. We were honored to be among them ... The photos and videos that are to come are but a monument to shifts in the universe we are in the process of creating.” Mackey said.
