K.I.N.G.S. Mentorship Hosts Community Dinner

Black Men Smile®’s  K.I.N.G.S. Mentorship Program hosted an interactive event on Sat., Sept. 14 called, "Food for Thought", where guests dined on local, black-owned fare and shared intimate truths about healing and community building. 

Guests were treated to a wine tasting from Black-owned winery, Geselle Wine, spa gifts from farm-to-skin spa iwi fresh, performances by cellist, OkCello and a local spoken word artist, insightful discussions led by K.I.N.G.S. program director Brantley Simmons, and a lively panel discussion featuring Black Men Smile® founder Carlton Mackey.

In partnership with its youth mentorship program K.I.N.G.S., Black Men Smile® hosted an event in Atlanta centered on community healing and dialogue. The mission was to create a space where folks could initiate the process of healing...for real.
