This Career Day Hit Different - Black Men Smile speaks life at Atlanta Middle School

Black Men Smile® showed up at Sequoyah Middle School’s Career Day—but we weren’t just there to talk about work.

We came to affirm.
To uplift.
To remind every student in that building that joy is their birthright.

Our time with the students was more than a presentation. We wanted to create a space filled with powerful affirmations, movement, and the kind of energy that sticks with you. We shared our story, connected through our signature exercises, handed out joggers, and most importantly, made sure each student knew:

Your presence matters.
Your joy matters.
